January Andovar School Newsletter
Students at the school in Porayar, Tamil Nadu are busy with class work and studies. Without all the amenities of a Western school, their days are pretty simple. They have one governmenet issued text book and they are seated in one classroom for the day.
The students do have a break to play games. The boys and girls enjoy games such as balancing a lemon on a spoon as well as calisthenics-see photos below. There is not enough room on the school premises at this time for favorite team games such as cricket.

The students are grateful to have the opportunity to learn and thanks to your generous support some more educational tools such as science and computer lab and library will be available to them.
